Revisiting : Wet N Wild MegaLast Lipsticks!

If you've been a long time follower of my blog then you probably know by now that I love lipsticks. Some girls love eyebrow products to get "on fleek" brows, some are obsessed with foundations to get that perfect flawless looks, some are into palettes of eyeshadows. Well I'm in love with lip products, especially lipsticks. I have a variety of shades and finishes and I can go on and on about  the different tubes I have in my collection but today I'm revisiting an old favorite - Wet N Wild Megalast Lipsticks! I've been collecting tubes of this line since 2014! *teehee* Hope you enjoy the swatches!

November Haulage V.1

When I was a wee bit younger, I used to post a lot of hauls on this blog. Even the most mundane of hauls went onto this blog! Recently I've tried to keep my makeup shopping to the bare minimum. To be honest, I think the last time I purchased makeup was way back January. (I swear!) I've tried to stick to a promise I made my mum to actually use the products I already have and not repurchase till I run out of those products... I've gone through quite a bit of makeup and made a dent in my makeup stash so I'm really proud of that. Expect my first ever "empties" post on the makeup products I've used up soon but for now let's get on with this haulage post since my last one was way back in January!

Out of all my purchases, I'm most excited about the Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 palette because it's my first time to try a product from this brand and because there is a lot of hype that this is a Urban Decay Naked 3 palette dupe. I don't have the UD Naked3 to do a comparison post BUT there are a gazillion posts online comparing the two palettes and based on the photos I can say most of the shades are pretty spot on!
I'm also very excited for the Wet N' Wild Megalast matte lipsticks. I already have around 10 of 'em and these new shades will definitely be put to good use like the other tubes I already have. Expect a "collection, review & swatch" post of these really great lipsticks soon!

Haulage with Swatches : Wet N Wild Megalast Lipsticks

I am a lipstick hoarder, that is a fact. I have a fairly large collection of lipsticks (more than I actually need) and I continue to spend on lipsticks and lip products in general. My usual "weapon of choice" is a bright hot pink lipstick in matte finish but recently I've been feeling a bit bold and have opted to try out darker colors that are all the rage this season...
I set out on a mission to find plum or wine colored lipsticks that aren't too pricey because I'm not sure how I'd react to these colors when worn. I was super excited when I saw Suzanne's Emporium's announcement of a SALE on her Wet N Wild Megalast Lipsticks... I've tried this particular line of lipsticks from Wet N Wild and I like the formula so I went ahead and ordered three different shades...

As you can see, my Wine Room & Ravin' Raisin tube had a bit of an "accident" but I didn't really mind. It didn't totally ruin the tube and I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning it for a new tube since I was super excited to try these babies out.


Wine Room - is a medium berry red shade, great for those who want a "red" lip but still a bit shy to put on that classic red lip color, works great on my medium skin tone.
Ravin' Raisin - is a medium plum-purple shade, it looks pretty on the back of my hand but tends to make me look a little too "goth-like" when worn on my lips, I might have to layer this over a rose-colored lipstick to make it work.
Vamp It Up - is a blackened purple, this is totally a goth type purple and if that's what you're looking for then you definitely have to get this! Looking for a black lipstick but can't seem to find any, try this out as an alternative.
