Bronzers & contour powders are the kinds of beauty products I have a hard time convincing myself to shell out extra pesos for because I've always been skeptical about using them. Well, that was before I found my "sunny" little helper...
Let me introduce to you the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in the shade Sunny!
What : NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder in the shade Sunny
Sunny is packaged in a bronze colored plastic casing and comes with a free puff-type applicator (which I junked a long time ago). It has a very cute sun imprint on the powder itself and stay that way for quite a long time. It also has a decent sized mirror built into the compact which is a major plus for me. Sunny is a great bronzer that comes of sheer but is definitely build able. It blends so easily into the skin and gives off a nice healthy and natural color to the face. It has a matte finish which appealed to me primarily because I have combi-oily skin and shimmer bronzers have a tendency to make me look like a grease ball *eeeeep!* And since Sunny has a matte finish, it makes the product ideal for contouring and adding warmth to the face without it being to obvious! Now isn't that great?
Now I know you're all wondering what are the bad sides to this product, right? Well I only have two problems with this. First off, the packaging. It can come off a bit cheap. As you can see in the photo above, there are visible scratches on the top cover and the bottom label also has signs of wear. Next is the price. Since I come from Zamboanga (Philippines), getting my hands on this product was tough! This usually retails for $3-$4 in the US but I had to pay double the price (+shipping) for this! I got this for P350 (+shipping). Yeah, bummer, right? Good thing I love the product!
Anyway, that's it for my review..
Some of you may have noticed my "new" way of reviewing things. To be honest, I'm still experimenting (& waiting for feedback from my readers) regarding my writing style... Hopefully I'll find a distinct style soon that appeals to the majority, if not all, of my readers.
this look niceee! :) I've been looking for a nice bronzer rin.. I'm thinking whether to get the one from Milani or The Balm.. :3 I'm not sure if I can find this NYC bronzer here.. :/

I've been longing to have this one ever since YT gurus raved about this product. But everywhere I look it's just not an easy product to find. Oh, and I love your new layout! So chic!
Oooh! I wanna try that one dear!! :) And since it's matte, it'll work for me. Anyway, I'm so happy you asked Kenny to code your layout! It looks great and I love it!! :))
