P1k Makeup Challenge

Last month, I was tagged by the lovely Bing Castro of The Project Awesome to do the P1k (one thousand peso) makeup challenge. The rules are pretty simple. All I had to do was create a full face look using products that fit in a P1k budget. The biggest catch? Makeup tools will also be included in the said budget! My heart skipped a beat upon learning this because ever since I started applying my makeup with actual tools, I've rarely used my hands or Q-tips for makeup application. Nevertheless, I wanted to do the makeup challenge/

Makeup Tutorial : Tangerine Dream

Aside from blue & purple, orange is another one of my favorite colors. I may not have a lot of orange clothes or even orange makeup products but I do really like the color, especially tangerine-like shades. So yesterday I decided to create a wearable orange based makeup look that I've called Tangerine Dream. This is definitely a nice look to wear out to sunny afternoon parties. It's not a "boring" neutral look nor is it too much of an "in your face" colorful look. It sits right in between! Smokey Peacock Eyes with Wet N Wild ColorIcon Palettes!

It's been a while since I last posted anything that was "makeup tutorial" related but since I'm back to making YouTube videos, I've decided to make a new tutorial as part of the Wet n Wild Coloricon palettes series. Please bare with me on the speedy video at the end of this post. I'm still trying to get my mojo back with YouTube videos.  This look was created using Wet n Wild Coloricon palettes which are really affordable and are of great quality. The colors remind me of a male peacock's colorful tail hence the look is called Smokey Peacock. It's a playful twist on the usual dark smokey eye look. Valentine's Date Look : A Makeup Collaboration

Happy Valentine's Day everybody! I'll be spending today dating the entire orientation group at CMZ since we still have our nurse trainees orientation going on! *lol* Spending the whole day at the conference room listening to lectures, having ice breakers, taking down notes and giving return demos... What fun! *lol* Anyway, though I won't be going out today on a date or something, I still collaborated with 5 other lovely girls to come up with a simple date look that can be worn on other occasions or even for everyday! Check out our cutie-patootie poster below... L-R, Top-Bottom : Jannie, Eyah, Michelle, Denzyll, Joyce & Mhisha I did a very simple pink smokey eye that's sweet enough to be worn during the day and sultry enough to wear out at night. Halloween Makeup Collaboration : Creepy Ventriloquist's Doll

Hello everybody! It's time for another Halloween inspired makeup look....

The theme for this installment was scary doll. It took me quite some time to decide what kind of doll I wanted to be when I finally settled for a ventriloquist's doll. I've always been fascinated with ventriloquists and their dolls and the art of throwing one's voice to make it appear that an inanimate object is talking... Plus I already did this type of makeup on a friend the other week, so I decided to recreate the look on my own face...

Meet Anthomer S. of Anthomer's Photography Collection. Aside from being a freelance photographer, he aslo dabbles as a model.
