Overall :
There are several things I like about these lashes. First is the design. This particular lash design gives a very flirty look as it tapers towards the outer edge. Once you pop these babies on, they give the illusion of length AND volume. I have really flimsy lashes and these really help make them a lot thicker and longer looking. I really like how they make my eyes look a lot more lively without weighing them down like some lashes can. Moving onto the band of this design... It has a thin band which is a good and a bad thing for me. It's good in the sense that it makes these babies blend better onto your natural lashes and you don't have to apply too thick eyeliner to "cover" or disguise the band. It's a bad thing because sometimes, especially when I'm rushing, it gets a bit flimsy to work my way on getting them on. I'd totally recommend these babies to girls who are looking for lashes for that special occasion that adds length and volume. This is definitely not for the faint of heart!
Check out some photos of me using them!

Haulage : GWYSHOP Goodies!

I'm back with another haul and this time it's from an online store called GWYSHOP. A year ago I received a really nice package from them and I talked about it in this post. I've been meaning to purchase from them again so I was really excited that their circle lenses are part of a promo and that they now sold falsies as well... Read on to know more about what I got from GWYSHOP.

GWYSHOP still has great packaging. I'm still very partial to shops with nice packaging (as well as ones that wrap the orders in bubble wrap!) so Gwyshop has impressed me once again. They use paper bags with their cute logo and contact details printed on it.

I grabbed the opportunity to purchase new falsies. 2 pairs that are bottom lashes and 2 pairs that are top lashes. Each pack cost around P80/each. I really like the styles I got. I'm planning to incorporate both styles in my next "gyaru" makeup tutorial.

I also ordered two lipsticks from the brand Sibella. It's an Italy based brand. Each tube cost me only P90. I got one in a plum-mauve and the other in a fuchsia pink shade since these are colors that I prefer using on a daily basis.

Last but not the least, I availed of their promo for Crystal lenses. I've never tried Crystal lenses before, so I'm pretty excited to test it out. A pair costs P249 (non-graded) but since I got the promo price, I only paid P599 for 3 pairs. All three pairs have a 15.0mm diameter. I got them in Jewel green, Peridot gray and Ula brown. Reviews will be posted soon!

That's it for my GWYSHOP haul.
Have you heard of this store before? If yes, how did your experience with them go? If no, would you consider buying their kawaii goods? Tell me in the comment box below!

Guest Post : How to Grow Longer Eyelashes by Eli Palad

Source
Over the centuries, women have been trying to grow longer lashes. This desire is not because they want more adequate protection for their eyes. Long, beautiful eyelashes add to their feminine allure. Early attempts at growing long lashes may be seen as practical – such as darkening the eyes with kohl – to downright unsanitary, like the use of crocodile dung among Ancient Egyptian women.  Centuries later, better eye makeup was developed, as well as false eyelashes.

At present, however, there is no need to come up with strange concoctions when there are many ways by which you can grow longer eyelashes on your own. There are two ways by which you can grow long lashes, namely naturally and with the help of eyelash growth products.

When we talk about natural methods of growing longer eyelashes, the trick here is to consider what factors may be inhibiting lash growth. For example, makeup, especially eye cosmetics, are particularly notorious for hindering eyelash growth because they make the lashes dry and brittle, so that they break or fall out with time.

Because of this, you need to be more thorough when you wash and clean your face of makeup at night. In some women, thin and fragile lashes are a problem. This can be resolved with proper conditioning to help keep the lashes moist.

This can be achieved by applying natural oils, such as castor, jojoba and olive oils, directly to the eyelashes. Vaseline and petroleum jelly have been very effective for some women, but take care that it does not get into your eyes because it can cause burning sensations. Make sure also that you eat a healthy diet that is rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals, which are essential to hair and eyelash growth and repair.

If you have difficulty in growing your own eyelashes naturally, you can help boost the process with the help of eyelash growth serums or gels. Research on the Internet alone will give you so many products to choose from, ranging from prescription medications to OTC preparations. If you don't want to be hassled by getting a prescription from your doctor, better stick with OTC preparations.

Arguably, the most popular eyelash growth serum is Idol Lash. What makes Idol Lash such a hit with women is that it contains only natural ingredients, making it safe even for those with sensitive eyes. Also, Idol Lash works faster than other OTC eyelash products, showing results within 2 to 4 weeks of use.

Aside from other Idol Lash, other products that have gotten positive reviews from women are Lilash, RevitaLash, Ultracil and Marin Lash. You might want to research on the Internet to learn more about these products.

Discover other ways by which you can grow longer eyelashes today!

Review : KKCenterHK's ES - A829 Lashes

Here I go again, blogging about my falsies obsession! *laughs*
Again KKCenterHK offered to sponsor FREE false lashes for review purposes & being the lash hoarder that I am,I agreed immediately!

This time it took three weeks to get to the Philippines. Again I saved the stamps for my lola's (grandmother) stamp collection since she asked me to do so. The sponsored item turned out to be false lashes with the code ES - A829. Like the other ES lashes, they came in a lovely shiny black carton box that was wrapped in bubble wrap.

Here's a photo of the 10 pairs of lashes that were sent to me. Aren't they lovely? They fall under the CRISS CROSS lash category. They're relatively shorter than regular falsies and have a clear thin band.

Now onto the review proper.

Shipping / Packaging : ★★★★☆
It took three weeks to get to me which isn't such a horrible thing. At least I didn't have to go to the post office to claim them. Thumbs up again to KKCenterHK for wrapping the item in bubble wrap.

Design : ★★★★★
Though I love full on dramatic lashes, these "more natural" looking ones are super fun to use too! I love how the lash hairs are long and makes my own lashes look fuller plus since it flares towards the outer part, it give the illusion of cat eyes without the effort. I also love the fact it has a very thin and flexible clear band. It's a lot easier getting these close to my natural lash line.

Comfort : ★★★★★
I used this out the other day and it felt super comfy. My eyes didn't get tired from the weight of these lashes and they didn't poke the sensitive areas on my lids.

Overall : ★★★★ ★
I'm really loving these lashes. I'd recommend them (& the site) to those girls out there going for a more natural but still flirty look. These pairs are perfect for everyday use since you can even pull it off without much eye makeup! They look super natural too. :)

More photos!
